"We know that this likely won't resolve the Brimstone surplus completely, and we may end up adding Brimstones as a reagent for some of the other recipes and/or changing the current cost for the amulet. " No. I won't show you my page of brims. Considering brims can stack 500 to a slot, you can fantasize about it. |
Brims! Yay!

I sold a bunch at 65,000 tonight. After hearing the news that only the new amulet will require them, I am not sure how much higher they will go. Guess we will find out just how useful they are come PTR!

500 per square? I just leave them in stack of 1000 for each of the 50 auction limit when my stash was full. |

I've got them saved on a few characters' stash. |

@Khan
I was following your foot steps. It was a darn good investment/ speculation. Given that I lost interest in softcore, I recently dumped all my softcore gold into it. |

Hehe. Good job with the gold! Its nice to have AND could present some RMAH profit if it starts to take off. But I'm waiting for it take off a little on the RMAH side with mats and jewels. I've converted most of my gold to commodities so I'm just holding out now. Playing a little on the Nat's ring side cause its fun as hell but mostly just waiting for the real money to start...

I flipped some Nat's rings with CD. I currently have one listed on the AH and I don't expect you to buy it else you are transferring gold to me :P.

I am guessing due to lack of 'brimstones sink', there are a lot of brimstones out there. This has not counted new supply of brimstones from loot (1-4 per hour per my farming efficiency) and also less player base. My friends no longer play and have switched to other games. Type like me stays, but other type of players will not come back regardless of what improvements made to the game.
Ideally every players should have easy and affordable access to crafting, then due to RNG only a minor fraction of the crafted items is godly. This implies the brimstone prices should stabilise to a new affordable level once the craze is over. |

I was offline for a couple of days. Had a tiny stack of brims (150) in my stash. Sold them for 35k each, then noticed the 1.07 patch notes.
Brim price on EU now at 46k. I sold too quick. Oh well, still made a profit so all good. |

46% CD Nat Rings successfully sold for 99m. I guess some lightning monk bought it for the off-resist. While I have been having fun killing monsters at Hardcore, at Softcore I am now 100x richer than I was a few weeks ago by playing AH Tycoon. |
