In the past I've been very successful gearing characters with some decent budget gear. I'm at the point where I want to start spending on high end gear that will have my character doing solo MP10.

When I'm looking for items on the AH, how are you buying these?

I'm sure you have to spread it out over time, have a specific want list, and (obviously) have the capital available.

I'm looking for the best ideas to help stretch my budget, but also get some solid gear. I am gearing up my WD for anyone with specific suggestions. Max DPS, survivability secondary. Looking to one hit mobs through the highest MP level I can.

For starters, I would go with a Uhkapian Serpent for max DPS.
