Brimstone

I was thinking of buying Brimestones at 61k each and wait until it goes up again to sell it. Do brimestones fluctuate daily or weekly like other commodities. Do you think brimestones will drop even further?

I don't see how Brimstones will go up any time soon.

If the PTR Legendary drop rate doubling holds to the patch, it's going to result as twice as many Brimstones being forged. Also consider that the dropped items will have a greater chance of rolling better affix values than what can be found in 104, which further discourages crafting.

If you have the stomach for it, it seems like you might have a better chance of buying out Exquisite Essence in mass quantity at low cost and wait for an upswing. There's no stability to that commodity lately, which is something that can be taken to advantage in the short term.

I agree with Xpoferens. There is nothing on the immediate horizon that would make me believe brimstones are going up much anytime soon. They do fluctuate some but not enough on a routine basis to make much of a profit after the 15% fee.

I am currently sitting on a pile of them and am assuming that my best shot at getting my gold back out of them or making any profit will be when the eventual PvP patch comes out. However that is pure speculation on my part.

There may be a very short term rise immediately after 1.05 (or any other patch) is released due to players who previously quit coming back to try out the new features. But I wouldn't bet on it lasting more than a day or two as the previously mentioned drop rate increase kicks in, the market gets flooded, and players begin to drift off again after a few days. At that point if anything Brimstones will probably drop a little more.
