I'm always made to buy it at 1100-1200 gold. Even though Last 10 has been well anywhere from 400-600 and max of around 800 for about a day. Tested at a few random intervals buying one to see if i got any kind of gold refund. Nope.

i tested it last night by buying 10 at 600 gold each even though the price was at 1200. A couple hours later, I bought 1000 EE at around 1000 each. The price was around 1200. It works i think your timing was just off.
