Item Details
The damage splitting effect works like this:- For this example an attack does 100 damage, Player A's damage mitigation is 70% and Player B's is 50%.
- When A gets hit, the attack is reduced to 30 damage, then gets halved and both players take 15 damage.
- When B gets hit, the attack is reduced to 50 damage, then gets halved and both players take 25 damage.
- If there are 3 Players & A gets hit, the resulting 30 damage will result in each Player taking 10 damage.
- As you can see, it is a good idea for the player with the most damage mitigation to take most of the damage.
- This ability can work between you and your follower. It works especially well if your follower has the legendary follower item that makes them invincible, as you will permanently take 50% less damage.
Guaranteed Stats
The minimum level this item can drop at is 60. Below you will find the range of stats found on the level 60 version, however the item can drop at any level above 60. The legendary effect does not change with level.

Patch History
As of Patch 2.1.0 (August 26, 2014) the following changes were made to this item:
- No longer rolls with guaranteed Life per Hit. Replaced with an extra random property.
Easter Egg Information.
Unity is a ring from a Dave Chapelle comedy skit. The flavour text "A symbol of peace, love and togetherness for all mankind. Also good for leaving an imprint on someone's head." is in reference to a scene where Rick James hits Charlie Murphy in the head with the Unity ring, but unfortunately the scene is too shocking to show here.
