I didn't play PTR so I didn't know how any of my characters would pan out as none of them are high end geared.

I played with 2 friends (we were also on Skype together) who were both well geared barbs and initially I used my WD. I'd heard that haunt was pretty decent with corpse spiders so I tried that and it worked pretty well initially as the barbs worked out what skills they needed to combat me but for the most part I was on top.

Then switched to my DH using hungering arrow & bola shot to try and stop them from time to time when the barb charged me and it worked okay.
After the barb's worked out there skills it became a lot more tricky. They were using ignore pain which reduced my crits to doing not much damage and then leap with stun, and also ground stomp with stun. They could then 1-hit me with HoTA as i was stunned for a while but i could pop out of the stun with smoke screen if they didn't manage to crit me first time. They'd also drag me right into them when i was on other side of the screen with Ancient Spear. I run on a tiny screen laptop so sometimes I was getting leaped on/speared when I wouldn't even see the other player!

I got better at kiting around them and knowing when do use certain skills as we kept playing but I must say it was a hell of a lot of fun! I also hadn't played my DH for about 3 months so was rusty at kiting at first. We played for probably 2 hours and some of the 1-hit kills were hilarious and people getting away with a slither of health. I liked being sneaky and getting double kills on the barbs when they were fighting each other :)

Some of the Reasons for Death were quite interesting too. I died from Basic Melee Attack, Hellfire fireball and Andariels Poison as someone was using the helm which does poison nova! I guess it was a nice change from another HoTA death.

All in all I'll definitely play again against friends, against randoms I don't know if I'd enjoy it as much.

I've been wanting to give it a go, but I'm out of the loop when it comes to finding someone to "brawl". I have no friends that play and I'm yet to add anyone from this forum.

@enzyone - same here, as someone points out, the current system severely lacks a matching system. Also, unlike diablo 2, I can't create a custom game called "brawl me, bro - pl 10 wd taking all comers".. Basically, they really need to recreate the social aspects of this game
