I know it's not a big deal, but while listening to some of his tunes, I remembered him playing the game, so I did what any normal human being would do, search for his character on DiabloProgress, after quite a few fakes, found the real deal.

He has 3 Marquise Rubies on his chest. It has to be him. Only a famous person could afford to spend that much on Marquise gem crafting, lol!

It's fabulous that they're strength gems in his armor. I'm positive he'd get more out of a single Marquise Emerald than all three Marquise Rubies combined. They sure do look purdy, though.

To be fair, we're some of the craziest and most informed fans of the game. We look at his build and instantly see an over-reliance on Strength and disturbing lack of IAS in balancing out his damage (especially as a Spin2Win Barb). That's because we know a lot of the details behind the mechanics of the game to optimize our time with the game. Personally, I know all of those details because I'm trying to find the best equipment I can get with my available Gold on hand (and because I'm a huge geek). If I had enough money to just keeping buying equipment until I was destroying MP10, I don't know if I would bother to learn aps tick rate breakpoints.

Sweet, I've been wondering what deadmau5's barb was like. Oh and yeah the extra 10% crit damage of a marquise emerald is way more dps than the extra 12 str of the 3 marquise rubies. I was curious and plugged it into d3rawr.

Just because an item shows up on a few character sheets on Diabloprogress doesn't mean it's duped. The previous owners just might not have updated their profile after getting something else. |

I'm not saying it's not duped. I'm just saying that just because one item is listed to be on more that one account on Diabloprogress doesn't necessarily mean that it'd duped. Nothing more, nothing less. |
