Speculative effects of 'Craft All' in 1.08?

Now that you can visit the jeweler with...let's say 5000 flawed emeralds and 2000 Tomes of Jewelcrafting and hit 'GO', will this impact pricing of lower tier mats at all?

Things that could possibly jump:

- Gems of a tier lower than flawless square
- Pages of Jewelcrafting
- Tomes of Jewelcrafting

Anyone have thoughts on this?

My money is on tomes. If there is any profit to be made in crafting gems, you can bet tomes will be affected.

First, they're only hoping to get it in Patch 1.0.8. I would recommend they don't hold off the patch for its functionality. Overall, I don't think it will have a notable impact on the market. The upper level gems will never go above their crafting costs again, but the premium has never been more than 5% outside of patch days.

I'm curious whether ilvl 62 gloves will have a chance to be profitable. Even limiting the ilvl 62 affixes, they still have a ceiling around 8% IAS, 8.5% CC, 30% CD, 69 AR. These days, even those stats might not get you a whole lot of Gold, but if it's one click to craft 30 pairs of gloves, the margins could be pretty thin and still make it worthwhile.

the high profit margins on upgrading to certain gems above flawless square will thin as the lazy can easily craft their own, although there will be a tome and page price increase in the short term, I see this as the end to profiteering from gem market deficits.
however as the number of account bound gems that are crafted rises it will almost certainly pull gem prices up across the board, but more proportionate to each other
