hi there,
i rly struggle in actIII. i wanna reach a farm status so i can clear it in ~1h. since i dont have ubermoney i want to change my gear bit by bit. if you could give me a hint whats the worst thing i got on my barb, that would be great barb gear greetz deez |

I'm in the same situation. Can't seem to survive most elites. Most trash kill with a certain amount of ease.
From what i've read, i've got a decent amount of AR, armour, LOH. I think i lack some HP. Any ideas on what i can change? Thought of going 2H, as i found a Vigilance Polearm (almost 1.4k dps on it and 5.9 LS). Here's my barb |

You need around 42-45K health. Remove that MF gem in your helm and put in a Life% gem. You may also want to bump your base VIT to around 1K. |

ap0kalyps3, you need life on hit OR some good life steal to get you started AND a skill or two that gives you life back. I see you have Rend but I'm not sure how useful it would be.
Santient, You do have life on hit, but you are a double tornado barb without a shield... a risky combination. I will now address both of you at the same time, have a look at my profile. I have 9% life steal and it's damn useful, I also have Revenge which is *ridiculously* powerful. It heals me for 5% times the number of monsters around me PLUS 1.8% of all damage done (9% life steal means 1.8 life steal on inferno), I can be at 5% health and heal myself back to full with one revenge and when I'm surrounded, I can repeatedly use revenge. Second of all, it sucks, but Act 3 elemental damage is still very very nasty at times, Ignore Pain makes a hell of a difference. You can rock the 20% life steal rune, or the reflect damage one, or the increased length, all of these are good. Look on the AH for weapons with 2.8% life steal, 160 strength and a socket and check for weapons ending soon. At your dps level, they won't give you that much life back, but they will increase with your dps. |

I'm able to farm comfortably in a3 with only 50k dps in WW build. 900AR, 8k armor, 1k lOH and I'm having no issues with a3 at all. For 2H if you can't build enough DPS (100K) or atk speed ur gonna get farmed in a3 instead u farming the mobs. I only have 32k life
I still don't think 2H is viable in a3 unless u get some 1.4k insane 200Critial Dmg Weapon + socket and some crazy stasts like 300+ STR, VIT. I've seen 400 Intel on a 2H before so I think the max is 400. Dual wield still give you the best for WW. If you are not doing WW in a3, then you will not clear in a3 in ~1h if you go for the main ones like 3xdepth, rakkis all the way to azmo. Satient, with that spec you can only farm a2 comfortably. u need to upgrade to do a3. Gears are freaking cheap in AH these days. And I mean REAL cheap. I could get the spec u are wearing for <1m with buyouts i think. 100/50/50 stuff goes for less than <100k each now. I'm not sure how's the market in EU, but in the US market, it is. |

i'm currently farming a3 with only 32k dps, 700-800 AR (buffed) 32k hp, 7k armor, 1.5k LOH and i find it relatively easy. of course you'll see that arcane-desec-molten-fire chains mob time and time again but if you avoid them, you should have an easier time farming. :)

Based on your items, you do not have enough LOH . 2nd , you don't have enough CC to sustain your fury . Having more CC is better than having more CD . To go through Act3 , you probably need the following :- HP - Around 39 - 50k . Best if you can get around 42 - 45k CC - At least 45% . This include the skill and follower buffs . CD - 100 -200% is fine . AR - 500 is sufficient but more the better Armor - 5 - 6k enough LOH - at least 1.1k and above . More the better Life steal - this is a bonus .
