I had originally predicted gold to NOT drop below $.80 per million (sometime after 1.04 came out). I believe it was like, $1.70 per million or something at the time. Obviously, the value of gold will continue to drop (because there's just more and more of it in circulation). But it has reached sub .70 now! I think it was .67 this morning. So I was wrong: gold will continue to drop. I don't think it will maintain this pace, but now I am completely in the dark as to what the "bottom" is. Any estimates as to what the bottom price will be (at least before 1.05)? I suppose if I get lucky and catch some random burst where gold drops to like .10 a million, I would turn all my RMAH dollars into gold, but that probably won't happen. So right now, I'm just sitting around like a dummy because I have no idea what's coming. |
Bullish on Gold?

I'm buying maybe at .50. Then reselling when the patch hits as the price is likely to bounce back up to over 1.20. I have a suspicion that the new patch will cause players to regear real fast and increase the price of items and the gold to obtain them. Some people are estimating gold to drop to .20 in a week. Not sure if that'll happen. We shall see. |

The minimum you can sell in RMAH is 0.25 per mil so given enough time gold will drop to that price. What I try to mean unless they update 105 soon , gold will continue drop . |

Gold may have just found its bottom today. Chatter is that people are anticipating the patch this coming week and are also getting tempted by the low prices forcing the price to floor and possibly increase. I could be wrong. I have been before. |

It start go down again for a bit. $0.73 (7 hours ago) $0.74 (1 day ago) $0.80 (1 day ago) I would say it's a good time to save some gold. Patch 1.0.5 definitely bump gold prices up for a while |

Yeah. Looks like a little resistance at 0.80. |
