I have bashed you continually on this forum as the most hated and useless class in the game. I'm sorry.

I am a hypocrite, I rolled a WD. It's fun.

Funny post. WD was by far the most fun for me to level, both in SC and HC, even before they got buffed. Though, for some reason once I hit 60 I lost all desire to play as them.

@sabin Did you hit 60 before or after the buff? That might have a lot to do with it.

On SC I'm fairly certain it was before 1.0.3 (WD was my first class). On HC it was after monster power was introduced.

On the SC char, I just loved switching runes/skills as I leveled. I felt like no other class had such drastic differences in the abilities/animations. I didn't really care to play efficiently, in fact I never even really enjoyed bears or VQ so I didn't use the popular builds.

Yeah, that'll definitely do it. My first char to 60 was WD, and it was pre 1.0.3 After banging my head against a wall with just the MORE SPLINTERS and hilariously worthless pets, I went to Monk. After the 1.0.4 buiffs, I went back to WD, and I'm more or less enjoying it since. I just think the biggest thing keeping me from playing more is the lack of a hellfire ring; right now, any time I spend not grinding keys or organs feels wasted to me.

If I hadn't been putting 68+ paragon levels into my wizard I would be maining a witch doctor. They're so awesome.

My real love is as a Necromancer, and if a Nec is avail in the xpac I'm getting it ... heck, i'm getting the xpac nomatter what, but I'd really love to see the lagromancer, err,l necromancer come back.

The WD is the next best thing IMO, as it still gives us an army to command (the dogs + garg), but also allows for us to "get into the fun" as well with bears.

I don't know that I would want to play a barb or wiz, though maybe I could roll a DH - right now very, very content to play WD on MP2.

I started playing Act 4 again for a change a pace about a week ago and I"m really getting into that Act now and actually like it better than Act 3 - at least for now, though I really haven't found much to rah-rah about.

I had a similar experience. Hated my first WD levelling (also pre 1.0.3). Enjoying it much more since 1.0.4. Still playing much more Monk and DH at the moment, but my WD is slowly but surely getting better gear. Looted a Mempo with vit for him yesterday. :)

I'm actually considering trying a HC WD now, since my DHs keeps on dying on me.
