Low level crafting?

Ecocd brought something up in another thread that I was thinking about. I wanted to get the opinions of some more veteran players on low level crafting.

Do you think it'd be worth it?

About how much profit do you think would be there if it is?

Up to about what level would be worth crafting?

Would it be worth buying mats or only salvaging if it was tried? (I'm thinking salvage only)

Short answer from my personal experience:

1. It is profitable. Players won't mind paying 5 - 20k per blue for their alts below lvl20.
2. Eg lowest level blue boots. + movement speed please.
3. If not much competition in AH you could sell pretty high with buyout please. If competition and the resulting price is low, you might want to wait
4. At my level, not worth it when I take time efficiency into consideration. I prefer farming inferno. My gold pickup should be around 750k per hour and I want to find the 2billion item.

Sometimes, when im bored in inferno:

1. Go to normal difficulty
2. Do some act 1, or 2, or 3 or 4 or all clearing
3. take all items (blue+)
4. sell the good one overprised
5. enchant the bad ones.
6. resell the rest
