No matter when I look - the increments, etc, everytime I get presented with a min of 27 cents + tax, yet the last 10 transactions and last day average is always 25 cents.
WTF is going on here? I've got close to $70 now that I need to convert over. My auction house tycoon'ing is being severely limited !!!! damn it |
Ugg - can't buy gold at 25 cents

Shot in the dark, but they might do that for sales tax purposes. 27 cents would be 8% sales tax on 25 cents. I wouldn't be surprised if the max sales tax on online purchases is around 8%. That would ensure that if someone buys at "27 cents" they can cover the actual price of 25 cents + tax.
Otherwise it's just some weird hiccup about there being billions of gold that went up at 27 cents so that's the default price instead of 25 cents. I'd say try buying 4 million Gold and see what price you're actually being charged. At worst, you lose 8 cents on the experiment. |

@ecocd is correct on this. I just converted $7.29 for 27 million but when I got my notification it says $6.75 instead. So it went from a posted $0.27 to an actual $0.25 per million. Try it out.

I posted this in response to your other posting. It's listed at .27, but that is the pay no more amount not the actual amount. I bought mine in 4-8 mil increments and got it all at 24 cents a mill.

Yeah you have to take into account the refunds that you get back. It says and you will pay 27 cents, but since the cheapest amounts of gold being sold is 25 cents, you'll get a 2 cent refund for every million you buy. It's like if you were to buy a brimstone or some dye.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Sorry Nightcrawler - misunderstood you last time.
Well, time to go buy gold. |

Easiest way to do it is to refresh your balance after you buy the gold. I noticed that mine doesn't display the right amount until I do. Until then, it makes it look like I paid the 27 cents.

All right. I got 208 million worth at 25 cents last night, buying 8M, 100M and 100M. The seond 100M transaction took almost an hour and a half to fund.

I'm sure someone knows, so what is the magic cutoff for instant transactions vs long waits? |
![]() Posts: 1195
I think its $5 or less and you get your stuff instantly. Still looking for where I found that.

20,000,000 gold has been the magic cut-off for me lately, so maybe it is $5.
