Playing on multiple monitors

Anyone been able to do this yet? I've read that they natively disable it, whatever. I also read theres a crack to do it, not really something I wanna do since this game has the spybot thing built in. I tried windowed mode but it wont let me go any larger than the native display size. Any ideas?

I just got a 27" monitor to go with my dual 19's and I would like to span it out. Bought a GTX660 to get all the monitors on one card.

Haven't tried it. I have a 32 on the wall and a 24 on my desk and am going to expand to two more 24's on the desk. I've got 2 ATI Radeon 6800's. Shoot us some pics when done for inspiration.

Well, so what I'm seeing is with a Radeon card you can use Eyefinity and it works in fullscreen (windowed) mode. However, with Nvidia for some reason it does not. I think POSSIBLY part of my issue may be the fact that my 19's are native 1280x1024 while my 27 is 1080p, the resolution doesn't line up. Nvidia will still let me span them though which is why its confusing.

Looks like you need to get two more 19's or 27's. This is a three 27" setup:

Actually, thats not me. I got an image from the internet with a guy using three 27's. Personally, I've got two ATI Radeon 6800's that I'm thinking of going three 27's. I've got a 32 on the wall (youtube, news, and netflix) and a 27 (gaming/work) on my desk right now.

Nice, I think sometime this year I'm going to be getting a new card. I opted to get the Radeon 7770 for the its low energy usage and it was pretty darn cheap. I always loved the concept of the eye-infinity. I think I would need more power though if i was going to triple screen. Right now I'm happy with my 32" LG tv.

Is it just me or does that monitor set up not seem to make a difference? The isometric perspective makes the 1st and 3rd monitors show very little useful additional area.

Yeah, its definitely just a for show thing. If it increased targeting and surveillance area, it would be the way to go. Imagine if you could see three monitors ahead while looking for keywardens.

Now I'm thinking about PvP. With a lot of additional screen space, it could be an enormous advantage. Even with a small amount of additional screen space, it still seems like it could be a small advantage.

LOL that's pretty odd looking...

I've never played on more than one monitor (D3, Starcraft, CoD, Halo) before. But it would be nice to be able to watch TV, play D3 on one, and check email on another.

I dual-scren, but for what Metta suggests.
I watch TV shows (or check forums/database stuff) on one screen while doing mindless unique hunting/grinding on the other.

@Khan Workstation must be a 'loose' term?

@briangp The moment you sit in something like that you're thinking about shooting something that shows up on the screens.

I play on two monitors currently. One is a 32 inch TV which I'll have Diablo running on and the second is a 15 inch or so that I'll have a stream of Diablo or something on while I farm. I used to sometimes watch a TV show while farming but only certain shows like Park and Rec. Mostly sitcoms because they don't require much of your attention.

Been wanting to get a third monitor though, but not entirely sure on how I would set it up or place it.

Semi on topic and I think hardware.topic existed in the past, but my razer mouse seems to have died so I am in the market for a gaming mouse. Any suggestions?
