A lot of people say that they're going to quit and then say they're going to sell their gear, but a lot of times what I see is they're really just selling their gear for an insane amount and then buying other gear that's just as good for a fraction of the cost.
Doesn't really seem to be the case here though. |

man this stuff is insane... and for some reason the prices seem way over inflated... i'm not saying its not legit.. but they seem overpriced? is it just me?

In his post, he actually flipped his own gear for profit to cash out. Look at page 2, near the bottom, he lists what he has flipped of his gear. He was the top 5 dps US wiz. =/

Yeah I keep thinking that it must be nice to be one of those people that have multiple billions of gold worth of items. Besides the obvious of them being just really good pieces, they keep saying the upgrades are a [filtered] because at that point it costs 2 billion or more to upgrade, but you can pretty much upgrade to whatever you want because you can then sell your items for billions or profit to recoup the cost. You're only limited to actually being able to find those items to upgrade, not if you can afford it. |

I bet if he'd just put the items on the AH they wouldn't have sold for as much or as quickly, creating a scene creates interest
