Why are commodity prices falling?

As more and more are added, the price will go down. Currently everyone has lots of low-level items. We are literally fighting over the top 1% of items found

Basic demand and supply. I figure less people are crafting and there are less people wanting crafting materials now.

Initially when the RMAH introduced commodities exq essences were as high as 2k each, now they are around 800 each...

As a many recipe crafter demand has gone down for ilevel 62 items

Same with FB. It was 115k and now its around 80k. (EU)

FB has actually gone up in the past day or two. It is now around 160,000 gold US.

Market drives - more people are crafting - thats the only reason prices are going up.

Bots may be buying them out to create Gems as a faster way to convert ingame resources into money. Gold sales take about 24 - 38 hours and are running close to expirey of auctions on timers.

Gems have gone below the cost in Gold terms on the US RMAH I assume as people still buy them. Converting game resources into real money faster than just gold sales.
