I was wondering if anyone can confirm that the PS3 and PS4 versions of D3 will have access to the GAH and RMAH? I have seen a lot of negative comments about it being ported, but I am thinking this could be fantastic from a seller's standpoint. I would imagine that the whole console crowd could bring much more demand at least when it first comes out. I would think things would balance out later then due to more supply once people start running A3 on consoles. Any thoughts??

They clearly won't have contact with the PC's version of the AH. Two different platforms, two different games, no interoperability.
They'll almost have to have some version of the GAH built in. I don't believe they'd try to run a RMAH at launch, if ever. The ability to patch console games is severely limited by the console manufacturers so duping will run rampant on occasion which is sure to destroy any sort of RMAH economy. |

What I don't really get with it going to console is I can't imagine PS players being interested in farming like PC gamers do but they're allowing players to play offline co-op by the sounds but not really sure how fun that'll be on 1 screen...
I think @ecocd is right there won't be a link at all.. which is a bit of a shame. |

Yeah it is a shame. Although it could be done....all consoles have online capabilities and why not be able to connect to battle.net? I would imagine that is what the AH uses anyway...it is a shame that they probably will not...but then again I dont see any PC users leaving to play it on the PS3/4

Keep in mind Blizzard is trying to transform themselves from a gaming company into a "micro-transaction" company as they think they'll make more money from the game that way.

If there's a RMAH, I would probably invest in a PS3 just to try to sell enough to pay for it.
Early in the launch there is a lot of opportunity..... |

PS3? I'm paying for a PS4! I doubt Sony will let them have a RMAH, at least not one where they can legitimately cash out the dollars. Or were you talking about less legitimate means? |

I assume the auction houses will be separate. I also don't think the Playstation versions will have a Real Money Auction House due to the fact there will be an offline mode and the chance of hacks.
