Solo Ubers

I tested my skills this weekend by trying to run MP6 ubers solo.
Pretty much just to see if its possibly for me.

This is pretty much how it went:

Skeleton King + Magda: 1 Death
Just try to pull the skeleton away from Magda and nuke him away as fast as possible.
Magda doesn't follow you, she prefers to stand back and shoot butterflies at you.
I was able to down the king before he made too many skeletons. All in all not an easy fight, but not too bad.
Death was due to a standing on a badly place arcane beam.

Ghom + Rakanos: 1 Death
I went for Ghom first, and pretty much just nuked him down ignoring Rakanos completely.
For my monk this was quite an easy fight. My death was due to Rakanos teleport punching me just after I downed Ghom the first time.

Kulle + Seigebreaker: many many many deaths.
This fight was such a pain I had to go out and kill another elite pack to reset my NV counter.
I tried to down Kulle first. But hitting him while dodging all his attacks and avoiding Seige is a pain.
I also tried going for Seige first, but unlike the other fights Kulles attacks are very annoying and interfering. Being picked up by seige, and dropped right into a slow bubble while the roof falls on me just sucks.
Even after killing Kulle seige killed me. I got seige down to the point where he had almost no life visible on his health bar once when he killed me.
Eventually I did beat them by killing Kulle first. And I did get better at killing him after a while. But really annoying fight and just no fun.

So in short.
It can be done, but I won't do it again anytime soon. Seige fight is too much of a pain.

Such is ubers, right? In a sense, I'm glad Blizzard has one thing in the game that's still a challenge. On the other hand, they only have one thing in the game that's a challenge, so it's pretty annoying to play through it.

Diablo is almost a form of meditation at this point. Not much thinking, not much frustration. Just clicking, clicking and more clicking. It's just kind of ... there. Then Ubers come, particularly the Siegebreaker battle, and there's stress, possible repeated death, frustration, etc. It's a completely different experience.
