Female monk is the worst voice acting in the entire game, by far. Potentially some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard. I literally have to take breaks from play sessions it's so bad. I never even thought to ask the forum if I should start a male or female monk. I don't suppose there's a way to hack it such that something less annoying like a screaming child plays instead is there?

omfg, just shut up already.

I turned off the voice acting a long time ago. I hate hearing the same things over and over again.

@ecocd

I agree. Saying she sounds like a retarded mule is an insult to retarded mules. I also wish someone had told me before i made her my hc monk.

@khan

I didn't even know you could do this. lol Thanks for the tip.

Another reason to do that is to shut that stupid bitch Cydaea up when you stub your toe or look at an imp sideways when running through the towers in act 3. She always has to tell you a 5 year long story about every little f-ing detail? I mean COME ON, FFS!!

Also the companions irritate the hell out of me.

I'll say that I actually like Lyndon both in his voice acting and some clever lines, but I could do without the others. And I suppose I haven't really enjoyed Lyndon's lines for the last 300 hours.

Thing is, every once in a while, they give that warning about an elite pack off-screen which can be pretty helpful if I'm running low on Fury or Discipline, for instance. When dying was a real problem, as shniggies recalls, some advance warning could be really helpful.

yep, sometimes the warning is helpful but most of the time I get the warning a few seconds before the last one of a pack dies lol
