So... I always try to keep myself in such a situation that I could survive a DC.
In other words play with a monk ally OR have a bunch of dogs up with my WD.

But has anyone actually successfully survived a solo DC?

Because even though I focus on high VIT, and keep followers around, I'm still convinced that it won't be enough to survive a DC.

I have survived 1 DC before, but I was in a co-op game. Solo DC's has so far always meant death.
And there is nothing as depressing as realising that your game is no longer responding, and logging in to see the face of another character, and knowing you just died.
