Hey guys,

Is one of these better than the other? I use a sword/board Barb and use both Overpower w/ Revel and Revenge. Is it overkill using both of these at once?

What makes you think it is overkill? I used both at one point until I switched to a whirlwind and liked it

There's a big difference in terms of effectiveness between these two skills . Ask this question , if you have arcane and molten aiming at you and ur jailed , can revenge save ur ass ?. Overpower can .

There you go . Overpower for the win .

Barbs use overpower with crushing advance if you have high LOH items . It's much more effective than revel .

I replaced Ignore Pain with Overpower Crushing Advance while keeping revenge and it is amazing heals.
On whether is is overkill or not, I like to have 2 of Revenge/Overkill/Charge/Leap/Ignore Pain. I found dedicating 3 slots to those abilities will start to cost you some good DPS and I now prefer to use 3 defensive passives before resorting to that and I ended up dropping overpower for battle rage. So I guess it was for me but its great if you are undergeared slightly.

I would say it is overkill if you have high LOH. Change the OP rune to Crushing advance and then stand in a plauge or other ground damage and you will see your HP fill up. Very gratifying.

Overpower is as like the name really an overpower skill . I hope they don't nerf this in the next patch .

The best part of the skill is critical hits resets the cooldown of the skill faster . I can spam overpower 4 - 5 times before my ignore pain skill resets . It's perfect for WW barbs .

I prefer Revenge, This is because it can be used so much more often than overpower. However I have tried mixing in overpower in my build on a few occasions. It is a nice small heal against elite mobs, but another defensive skill like leap or charge blow overpower away. However to fight with revenge the normal monsters you pull during the fight have to deal less damage than you heal when it charges up. This will mean if your fighting at the edge of your combat ability as opposed to preforming farming runs overpower might be better.

they both have really different uses. revenge is great for getting a lot of health back from enemies, overpower is great for healing from ground effects, i use both

I use both. Don't think it's overkill to have em both, since they both have their advantages in different situations.

When you have 20 monsters smacking you silly, you wanna spam that Revenge button. Like others said though, change the OP rune to Crushing Advance. Much better.

Both of them is good too. May be you should try to use them with Sever legendary item + life steal ---> very good combo

just my current style of thinking ;)

sufficient loh +12% movement speed equals satisfying tornado heal now that A3 mobs are even weaker.

Especially since OP doesn't proc anymore from Crushing advance, Regenge is the clear winner, although WW beats the snot of them both.
