You have to wonder if they're intentionally slow-rolling this or if someone at HQ went, "sh*t. Morhaime said what? Well f***. We have to get something up on the web pronto. I don't care what it is, make it a f***ing finger painting for all care just get something up there."
I agree with both @Bort and @Baldy. Initial announcement means absolutely, positively nothing. We all already know there's an expansion coming. Baldy is likewise right that there won't be any release date specified other than "coming 2014." The absolute best case scenario for new information is an announcement about one of the (inevitable) new classes. I can't see anything else beyond that which we don't already know. New Legendaries & new monsters. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about new Legendaries, but it's not new information. Wake me in November 2014 for the open beta weekend. Then I'll hit the snooze alarm until December 2014 when they've replaced all the servers that melted during the initial release. |
