Hi guys, have you ever noticed that?
In auction house using gold, I was trying to buy a ring whose name was "Unstoppable Faze" The beginning price was 700k gold and there was NO buyout option. There was still MORE than AN HOUR remaining to the end of the auction. First I made a bid of 1 million gold and before the message of acceptance of my purchase, there was an immediate bid exactly 5% higher (1.050.000 gold). So I made a bid of 1.5 million gold and the same thing occurred, less than 1 second for the message came from a exactly 5% higher bid. I did the same again to 1.7 million gold and the same occurred. Someone is using some hack that takes a value greater than 5% immediately after the last bid. This is totally unfair. If Blizzard could check up the "bid log" on this item (or that my account made on August 10th) they would see that a hack was used. P.S: Don't waste time talking about people bidding in the last minute of sell. This is not the case. Have anyone there ever noticed that? |

this is not a hack, this is how the ah is meant to work. When you bid on an item, you can sepcify any max bid, and as long as nobody bids higher than that, you are gonna win the bid
that said, if some guy placed a bid of 4 millions on that ring, any bid u post will increase the selling price, but he still wins unless someone bids over 4m. if nobody bids higher than his bid, it will cost him the higest bid +5% and he will receive his change from the ah |

Oh.. that's ok. Thanks for the reply.
I'm still looking for that option of setting a "Max Bid" on an item. For me, the only options are "Bid" or "Buyout". Thanks and sorry for my mistake. |
