Is the plan to go ahead and wait for 1.0.4 before crafting these?
If yes, then I think you may have unwittingly solved the problem of rares being to random a prize because of the unknown possibility that the "150 rarez" top prize could be crap, but the 100th winner might find one. With 20 legendaries being crafted for the #1 winner and the demand that they will bring based on reactions to the Legendary blog from yesterday...I don't think I have to explain any further why the contest may have fixed itself ;) |

We will most likely be crafting them before the patch as even if the item you get is crap you will still get some free Fiery Brimstones. Blizzard already stated a few legendaries are not being changed such as Helm of Command.
Future contests will include crafted legendaries again and as soon as this contest ends we will begin to plan for the next contest (and new website features). It does not make sense to coordinate crafting legendaries for 100 people while we are busy with other things. |
