It boils down to playstyle.
If you're one of those monks who doesn't use a skill that burns spirit, having 2 mantras on your skills allows you to adapt yourself to the monsters you are fighting. Build 1 sounds like a build where retribution is used vs white mobs and healing is used vs champions/rares. |

as far as i know you can only have one mantra active at a time. if this has changed let me know how to accomplish this...
