I am sure this has been covered but finally getting into act 1 inferno and wondering is there a good starting point for farming act 1? Do you come in before skel king and work to all the bosses or just before the butcher kill packs for a while then kill the butcher?
Is it worth the time to do the act 1 goblin in the cemetary? I am working on a computer that has a real crappy FPS 4-6 and trying to decide what is best until I finish the job I am working and get back home to my gaming computer. |

1) Festering Woods for the guaranteed 3 elites (sometimes 5 if you're lucky!)
2) Leoric's manner. Courtyard in the front has 1 guaranteed pack (2 if you're lucky) 3) Cemetary and clear the crypts. 4) Chapel cellar and proceed all the way up to Leorics manor and then head straight for a typical butcher run. I usually run this with goldskin and movement speed boots to make it quicker. You can bypass step four and head straight to the dungeons if you're pressed for time. |

Thanks Khan going to give this a try, but I have found since i move in slow motion I can skip movement gear, it does not help it is funny to use my DH passive skill that increases movement speed by 15% and have a buddy without any movement enhancement run circles around me.

I usually do the mission where you come out and have to destroy the siege machines on act 3, and do it until you kill the boss. Usually pull about 80-100k per run, plus gear

When I did A1 I ran the entire act.
Catacombs 2 WP, then up to the previous level (1-2 elites). Graveyard (1 elite often) Graveyard Crypts (kill first elite, TP, WP back, go to next crypt) Festering woods (2 dungeons plus musc elites) Northern Highlands ( do tower if it spawns, if not just run to Leorics mansion for a couple elites) Leorics mansion (1 inside sometimes, 1 outside always) Final WP - kill both jailer and butcher. You'll be at 5nv by the time you hit Festering Woods and the rest is gravy. |

I think the best place are the fields below the cemetery. But the best in the game is the tide of the assassin ( i dont know the exact name in english, its in the desert sands. You always find 8-10 elite packs inside, its crazy.

For act 2, i start on the chapter where you kill kulle. i go to desolate sands and find vault of assassins (theres around 7 elites there). then kill kulle and then progress through the story to kill belial. i know some people get 5 stacks of NV before going into the vault but im too lazy :]

The reason for getting 5 stacks before heading into the vault is the density of mobs, both packs and trash. Getting 5 stacks prior allows you to get better experience within the run. One trick to this is to start with the vault checkpoint, and immediately exit the vault into the desolate sands, then head back in and TP to town.
Next hit the following: -Black Canyon Mines (2-3 packs) -Road to Alcarnus (1-2 packs across the bridge to the right) -Sewers of Caldeum (1-2 packs + possible gob) -Path to the Oasis (head into the sewer right behind you, 1-2 packs + possible gob) Then, take the waypoint to Desolate Sands, and check your map for where the vault is (you'll see, since you exited and revealed that spot on the map) -- head directly there, killing any other packs along the way (I usually get 1-2), then clear the vault, exit, and re-make. I've since moved onto act 3 runs, but this run was great. Fast, efficient, and loaded with packs with minimal travel time. Don't skimp out on losing all that sweet vault experience by starting with it. 75% more experience with your 5 stacks really adds up, and vault is the only place you'll be visiting with trash mob density, which is where a lot of the experience will come from. Best of luck! |
