Unsure about the logistics, but this site could administer a white-list of in-game traders. Members can have an active rating system under their name that only other members can access to provide reviews or just a simple 1 to 5 star Trade Rating. Each person can rate another person only once and can change their mind on the rating at any time; similar to a simple upvote/downvote. This would provide:
a) less stress for those dealing with basically unknown people b) provide some sort of reputational risk to traders via the community and subsequent internet search listings c) increase traffic and membership to the site once the listing becomes established as a go-to reference for in-game trades The system could be voluntary with a TOS. Thoughts? |

It's a good idea and I fully agree. Let's just say it's on the "to-do list". I already had an idea to do a reputation system based on the upvotes/downvotes you receive on the forum - but the trading reputation would be a different system.
