So I have all these crafting mats piling up in my stash. But is there anything worth crafting that is still at least breakeven? Now that it's so hard to sell anything but premium gear in the AH, I haven't been crafting anything. I think most people feel the same way since the price on mats has fallen through the floor. A tome of secrets is worth 200g, when it used to trade at 700-1200.
What are you guys crafting, and if you're not crafting, what do you do with your mats? |
Is there anything worth crafting anymore?

Yeah, it's come to the pt where getting 6 prop plans don't even excite me anymore.

I dumped 10mil gold crafting 6prop gloves a little while after the patch and managed to turn a profit as well as get some nice upgrades for my characters. Haven't done it recently, but the market seems to have become incredibly over saturated. You can still make some nice gold of course, but now you have to get lucky with great rolls instead of being able to sell decent stuff for a mil.

I've been doing 6 prop daggers with great success. I break even most of the time, but get some nice upgrades and some profit every so often.

From my experiences, crafting has never been worth anything. It should be an alternative to the AH, but it everytime I need something, I always go to the AH.

It definitely used to make me a ton on a few different armor pieces. Seems dead, and I haven't tried post patch.

I picked up a 6 prop gloves pattern a while ago and have been able to get some decent success making gloves and selling them. Though, it usually takes a decent volume of mats to actually make something worth selling.
