http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Douvinsky-1811/hero/6997476 This is my MF set. I am doing OK with 35k DPS unbuffed and 440 resist in Act III. I am wondering if I am gearing my monk efficiently. E.g. should I try more attack speed/ crit chance? Also, my bracer has no crit chance and dex, but is heavy on vital, is this fine? I apprecicate any advice from fellow monks. BTW I only have about 20m+, and is quite unwilling to spend them on marginal upgrades. However if I have a big mistake in my existing pieces I will consider switching out for more efficient farming. Thanks. |

do you have an Android phone?
there are 2 apps that could help you a lot for this. |

You should definitely try to get your resists up. It looks like fire is the most common type, so I would try replacing the gear that has other types of resists, or none at all with fire and all resist, like your shoulders. That would allow you to keep using your set rings. If you get your resists to around 700 you should find yourself doing a lot better. I have around the same DPS as you and do just fine in act 3.

@ Venoom,
I have I-Phone 4. What are those apps? @ NightCrawler OK will look at it. Hopefully I can find bargains. BTW I bought a 10m gloves last night. It has +33% dmg, +8% speed and +8% crit, and +armor, and + about 90 Dex. Overall it boosted my DPS by around 3.5k DPS. It has no resist though! |
