After messing around with my WD in 1.0.4 and comparing it to the Barb builds, it's made me sad that there aren't really many ways for a WD to compete with a Barb in terms of efficiency. So I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas on how to improve!

If anyone has any suggestions, let's hear 'em! WD is my favorite class to play still, and I'd really like to see if we can get the efficiency up near the barb!

Depends on your definition of efficiency.

Do you just want to kill monsters fast? Or cover a lot of ground AND kill fast? Or do you mean having little to no downtime?

If you want a little bit of everything I'd suggest my build and my offhand:

That offhand gives 20 pickup radius, just get another 10-14 off of items and both Grave injustice and gruesome feast become very very powerful.

Here's what happens when I run Act 2, I walk up to big packs of monsters, I pop Soul Harvest for 230% weapon damage and a negligible mana cost. If I oneshotted 15 monsters, I can cast it again (happens often with skeletons in crypts) and if not, I just cast bears once or twice and Soul Harvest comes up.

If monsters hit me, a Soul Harvest or bears gives me back 2% of my life times the number of monsters hit.

Spirit Walk is also up everytime I'm in combat pretty much meaning I can cover a lot of ground.
