Buzzel hit upon a mighty fun build. Experimental and very promising. He'll be clearing MP10 with only 5 million gold of gear.

I just swapped out the bat for rain of vengeance too, as I found I am neither discipline or hatred starved, and I needed a skill that wouldn't offset the crazy balance.

@Buzzel I've been playing around with it given some of your tips. Particularly, I went out and found a cheap Helm of Command and a shield. I suggest you look at Lidless Wall. It's a clvl 56 Shield with +attack speed, Demon Hunter skill bonus and +Max Discipline. It's basically a compromise between Shield and quiver and I've really liked it so far. The stats are otherwise underwhelming.

I think I'm going to go hunting for a decent Dawn tonight for the LOH proc. I dual wield, otherwise, and my offhand has the LOH. I'm definitely missing it right now.

I'm trying out Elemental Arrow Lightning Bolts, but I think I'm going to go back to Spike Trap - Scatter. I use Caltrops extensively so Cull The Weak has been very effective for me since it nearly always increases damage 15% and has served as a good replacement for Steady Aim. I'm thinking about going Boar or Spider Companion instead of Preparation. If you're going to stick with Rain of Vengeance, definitely try the Beastly Bombs rune for its damage potential. I'm tempted to try out the Anathema rune.

I've found Arcane elites to be a serious pain and level 63 monsters drop some serious mortar damage on my skull, too.

Basically tanky monk gear. Bola Shot bonus on shield would be cool. I'll show you it sometime, I've put literally nothing into it and thus far have had excellent results.

With IAS, that really helps. Hatred Regen is cool too.
