How many hours have you played?

I think the title speaks for itself. I am only showing my main as an example because the other characters that I have played so far pale in comparison to this behemoth's time in the fray.

200 hours total: 130 on main, 40 on my demon hunter, and 30 on my wizard.

I play sporadically, took a break the past few months and am just coming back to the game this past week. Work was demanding all of my free time in Nov and Dec.

Only character I play, almost 200k unbuffed with 240mil laying around.
Alts = yuck. Haha.

Also alot of people ask me how I leveled up so fast with so little time. Determination/Skill/Route and a bit of help with investing in the RMAH (buying gold to start off)/(then making it all back in days).

I think I'm about the same as Khan in the 600 hours at paragon 92 (at work right now, can't check exact numbers). Started to invest some gold into the barb and probably move to that once I get to P 100 with the main wiz. They level really quick, gonna try and follow this guide for more XP.

Not to go off topic with this post but wanted to bring up the fact that most guides saying you get 100mil per hour is actually bs. Looking at that route, it seems viable but over doing it. My current runs I do A2/D2/Rakkis (was doing that route before Roaha made it "famous") Once I calculated 106mil exp, next run 86mil, next 84mil. The thing about "Xp guides" is that no one takes into account loot/random gen maps etc. My 106 run was amazing from the start, it doesnt happen alot.

Oh for sure, I agree that these 100m XP guides don't get 100m all the time. Still a good read to get ideas for trying different routes/skills, see what works for an individual's specific case and building discussion.

@baldy

Holy shit... 938 hours? That's like 4 hours a day since the game's inception... I mean, it's not completely insane to play 4 hours a day, but to log that much on a single character is... dedication? Focus? I think 2 hours of straight tempest rushing and I start to get a nose bleed and hear a low pitched hum...

445 hours on my monk @ PL 70. I can't remember exactly how much time I've spent PLing (played a TON before there was PL), but I want to say somewhere between 150-200 hours. I remember playing this game 4-6 hours a day on weekdays, 8-10 hours a day on weekends in the first month or two. Then it dropped to 2-3 hours on weekdays, 4-6 on weekends for a few months. Then 1 hour a day on weekdays, 2-3 on weekends. Now, I do 2 runs of 6 minutes each and I'm tired of it.

At softcore, I am over 300 hours each for my monk and my DH, so in total close to 700 hours.

At hardcore, I am just starting, and I think I am going to stick with hardcore for quite a while.
