So yeah, I know the new patch isn't out yet, but the whole dueling thing is pretty exciting. Yes, there's no ranking, no record, no real sense of pressure (like playing unranked games of Yahoo Chess or something). But it's finally something completely new and at least creates a whole new type of character development. It also opens up the end game and finally gives gold/money some meaning. Anyway, there's no specifics on the mechanics of it, but I thought this would be a thread to share ideas/characters during the process as well as afterwards.

Here's mine:

Monk

Not a monster, but I threw in 2.9 LS, 16% block, and 75k HP. CD is pretty low because my amulet has no CC or CD but the stats on it are pretty nuts (+30 dmg, 300 dex, 300 vit, 6% AS, and 15% life). Maybe I'll go heavier damage and Witching hour at like 55k HP. We'll see.

Oh damn, 70k hp with shield? I want to start gearing my DH again for dueling, and I would be playing cat and mouse with chars like your monk haha...

Never liked or played PvP in any of the Diablo series, but that being said, I imagine a DH w/ Hungering Arrow is going to have a pretty good advantage in terms of "playing cat & mouse" w/ the other character classes...

I assume we can hold some tourneys here with a buyin and what not to add some excitment.
