I tried to make a new character to hold some of my jewelry items last night. I wanted to name her (female monk) JewelRee. The game wouldn't let me and it took my like 20 seconds to figure out that Blizzard has something in place to keep people from using the word Jew in a character name.

Come on Blizz. There is jewelry in the game. Why not allow people to use jew if it is followed by 'el'? Except for JewEliminator I guess...

I ended up naming her Trinkette btw. :P

Are you sure it wasn't the space?

There was no space, what I really tried was JewelRee since I know you can't have spaces.

Yeah the filter makes no sense to me. I named all of my characters aside from my primary after characters from Big Trouble in Little China and it wouldn't let me use the name EggShen for my Wizard. What the hell is wrong with that?
