I just bought a 1284 DPS Skorn with 5.1% life steal for 60 mil. There were many others that were similarly priced.
Just sending out some info for the community that maybe someone can capitalize on for there toonz. Happy shopping!! |
LS Skorn prices have taken a dip.

Hijacking thread. Enormous arbitrage opportunity between Radiant Stars in the RMAH and the AH. Take your dollars and turn them into huge amounts of gold. Then figure out what to do with that gold to convert back to dollars.

@Khan, I see the average sale price yesterday on Radiant Star Amethysts was tiny. I wonder what was up with that. Is that what you were talking about? They've very slowly and steadily worked their way down for a few weeks from around 0.06 to now 0.055 USD / 1 million Gold. That's nothing new.

That's the problem, @Khan. RMAH is very flooded right now making for a low supply/demand ratio. To many people with their hands in the till. List prices are nowhere near what they used to be, unfortunately. |

Basically, radiant star rubies and emeralds are in the $1.30 range. Flip it to Gold and their in the 22 to 23 million range. So if you have extra cash in your RMAH account that you want to convert to gold at a much better rate than purchasing it, you can do so now.
If gold is $0.26/ million: $1.36 = 5,230,769 gold (cost of 1 ruby) 22,000,000 gold = cost to sell ruby (approximate) 18,700,000 gold profit after blizzard cut Resell gold for $4.86 (18,700,000 at current market rate of $0.26/million) Paypal cut $1.00 Blizzard cut $0.58 (15%) Final Price $3.28 Profit $1.92 (approximate) Of course this depends on if you can resell the gold. I've made about 400 million just reselling my old radiant star emeralds and rubies yesterday. Haven't sold the gold yet. |

@Khan You may be interested in this thread where I've been posting about that for the past 2 months. Let us know if you sell any gold at all, ever.

@ecocd Yeah, the gold market isn't that great...Likely I was going to use the gold to buy items and then flip them on the RMAH. I just need to find the next big thing. With that type of leverage, I guess I can just go for higher end Nat's rings and sell them $2 to $3 cheaper.

Wish this was the case on the HC side. I need a LS one to up my dps. Currently using an ammy with 900 loh to survive, but it forced me to forgo the CC Cd an ammy should have. Grind TR style with 29 CC is annoying. |

I started selling some gold when I noticed this trend about 3 or 4 weeks ago.
But it's real slow going. Think I sold about 40 mil gold in a month's time. And you have to keep them up all the time. Gold only sells in the last second of the auction. That is, oldest gold sells first. So basically you have to post it, wait for 36 hours and then hope someone buys gold the very second your auction is about to expire. |

@Kahn Your real name is red blob? Mind BLOWN!!! ;)
I listed 5 blocks of 4 mil and 1 block of 10 mil and only the middle 2 of the 4 mil blocks sold. Of course these only sold at the last possible second (I'm assuming of course because I wasn't staring at them when they finished ;) Very interesting how the auction system works. |

@Khan That's insane. Thanks for posting! I know what I'll be doing with the remaining 7 million Gold in my bankroll. I'm not going to be doing anything with it in the next 36 hours, anyway. I don't mind giving it a whirl and seeing if I can pick up a 300% ROI.
@Baldy selling Gold is a little odd. Since everything is priced exactly the same, the sales order goes by last posted. Since people are constantly putting Gold up for sale, there's about a 3-10 second window where your gold is first in line to sell and then your auction ends. If someone happens to click "buy" in your window, you win! If you're really trying to sell off the Gold, it's definitely best to send up 10 small blocks than 1 large block. I didn't think it had a chance to sell at all. I think the rules for selling very large chunks of gold change entirely and they sell slower. |
