I believe Baldy got screwed over by that when someone bid 1,920,000,000 on his awesome drop (an axe, I think) and he had to sit there for over 24 hours waiting for the auction to finish. Strange bug.

It was excruciating(sp?). And to this day I have yet to see it show up on diabloprogress.

I'm sorry to hear that Baldy, that sucks. At least you know why.
They really should patch that. (or increase the 2b cap)

It's not a bug. It's just how the 5% minimum bid increase works. If you put a bid of 1.905 billion or whatever the 5% will go over the two billion limit and thus you can't bid on it.

@NightCrawler9 It's not a code bug, but it is a process bug. Guess it depends on your definition.

I tried to use a variation on this last night to buy a Chantodo Force for less than the BIN price.
It was priced 5 million to 50 million (a huge range) so I bid like 49,899,999 million on it, so that anyone who wanted it would have to pay the full 50 million.

Yeah. It did not work. :(
Someone paid the full 50 million.

That source would have given me almost 3,000 more dps and it had 12 more life regen than my current one. :(
