@Anuiran Did you see where one of the Sedin sisters got checked into an open door? It was during the gold medal game for the IIHF Championship. That was brutal.

How are you a Hawks fan @Baldy? Your profile says you're in NY. I'm in Chicagoland now and originally from Wisconsin so it's rational for me to adopt the Blackhawks as my hockey team. Given the Rangers' rabid fanbase, I have to assume you either have Chicago ties or your mom or dad have strong Blackhawks ties.

Actually, @ecocd, it's neither of those. A buddy of mine that I went to high school with was a Blackhawks fan when I met him. Since I wasn't really a fan of any NHL teams, despite watching the Rochester Amerks growing up (the Sabres AHL farm team), it was just a natural progression for me to like the 'Hawks. We played alot of NHLPA '93 for the Sega Genesis (showing my age a bit there). One of the better teams in the game was the 'Hawks.

I don't get to see a ton of games so I stream the games on WGN on my phone while I am at work. For my money, John Wiedemen is the best play by play man in the biz. Half the time, after a particularly fiesty game, he will almost lose his voice. Very amusing.

It has been a 25 year love/hate relationship since then.

That was an impressive come back for the Hawks especially when the Wings had them down like they did. Hoping they meet the Bruins in the finals. Getting past the Pens is gonna be tough for sure.

That is what the Hawks have been doing all year...finding ways to win.

Chara just needs to stick his 10 foot long stick up Malkin, Crosby, and Letang's collective asses and they should be ok. ;)
