Latest patch...?!

Did Loot 2.0 just go live w/ the last patch?! I'm reading the summary on the front page of diablohub.com--which says that "all Set & Legendary Items are now BoA" and that "Gold can no longer be traded"?! :-0

For some reason I was under the impression that I could still attempt to cash out before March 18, when the AH & RMAH go down...but now it looks like I can't? So does this mean for the next 20 days while the AH & RMAH are still around...only rares & blues can be sold? :-0

Not tried yet but I hope this will only apply to trade in game and we can still buy/sell with gold on AH.

Loot 2.0 is indeed live! I have gotten some awesome legendary items so far. I will post them in the "What have you found?" thread later! The bind on account only applies to new legendary items and you can still sell gold on the auction house.

But I can't trade gold in-game anymore?

Cause in order for me to cash out, I'd have to give all my gold to an IRL friend who has PayPal set up with his D3 account already... :-0

Silly follow-up question: When the AH & RMAH go down, what happens to all the stuff in the 50-item "Completed" section that hasn't been moved over to your stash yet because there isn't room in one's stash to move the items over to...? :-0

I've got several hundred thousand Tomes of Secret being stored there (along with some other stuff) cause there's no room left on my characters to put the stuff... :-P

There is a "mail" system that is used to send you items such as collector's wings. I assume they will all be waiting for you there.

First of all you will have no Tomes of Secrets. They were all turned into Demonic Essences. That is why I bought 25,000 of them before the patch went live.

Secondly, all your items will be held in the completed tabs until sometime in June according to the red text that is in the current AH screen. This must mean that the Auction House button will remain, or they will rename it once the AH closes.

Grrr...! Yeah, just noticed that when I moved 170,000 tomes from my completed tab into my stash....& then after a couple of seconds they all transformed into DEs...! :-0 Why couldn't Blizzard have changed ToS into something that could at least be sold on the AH until Mar 18?! I had several hundred DEs in my stash already cause I rarely crafted...now I've got several hundred thousand DEs... :-(

Thanks for the reply though.

New question: Regarding Key Wardens, before it was pretty straightforward: get 5 stacks of NV in Inferno, kill KW, and have a 10% chance of him dropping a key for every lvl of monster power you're playing at. Now that there's no longer NV or Inferno or Monster Power 1-10, what's the deal for getting keys? I'm assuming one has to be in Torment lvl of difficulty; but the slider only has 1-6. So what's the percentage of getting a key now--16% per lvl in Torment?

Max chance for getting a key is 50% at Torment level 6. Which blows. Same for organs if I remember correctly.

I tried to get the Act 3 key in Torment level 3 last night (just one try) but I failed.

Torment I: 25%
Torment II: 28%
Torment III: 33%
Torment IV: 38%
Torment V: 43%
Torment VI: 50%

Oh wow, that really does suck... :-0

I must admit it's been awhile since I've played D3 (mainly just doing AH stuff), so tonight is the first time I've logged in to play a game in awhile. Was very annoyed when my Rapid Fire build was no longer working properly when my Shadow Power rune wasn't regenerating Hatred... Can't say I'm too thrilled with the new patch so far...

So if I was ok in Inferno MP9 before, what lvl of Torment roughly would that be equivalent to...?

Thanks for the info though.

It depends on your Toughness more than just your DPS. I can play Torment 3 just fine on my Wizard.
My barb can survive Torment 3 enemies but he doesn't have the DPS to kill them very quickly.

Cool. My toughness is 443443, which I'm guessing is sufficient, considering your Barbarian & Wizard have toughness scores of 409656 & 384637, respectively (My DH's DPS is mid-way between your two heroes' DPS as well). Guess I'll give Torment 3 a whirl the next time I log on... :-) Thanks for the advice.

Actually, it doesn't look like you can buy/sell gold on the AH anymore... :-( At least when I try to search for Gold to buy to see what it's currently priced at, everything is listed as $0.00 (price per unit, avg last ten trades, average last day of trades)... :-0 I haven't tried to list any, though when I try it does offer to let me sell it at $0.25 per 50,000,000; which is way below what it was going for before the patch (at that time, it was over US$3 per 50 million gold...)...

I actually thought I'd give myself a bit of a challenge (as well as a better chance of getting some missing keys for Infernal Machines) the other day by going straight into Torment 4...& wow was I getting my butt kicked! :-0 Those new affixes on Elite packs really drain your health pool quite quickly. That, and the nerfs to Life Steal/Life on Hit didn't help very much either; Shadow Power seems totally ineffective not just against Reflect Damage Elites, but even large packs of regular white mobs seem to out DPS my ability to heal via Shadow Power. The KW on Act III, which used to be a piece of cake for me on Inferno MP9, killed me multiple times. :-( Oh well, at least the cost to repair my equipment seems to have gone down... :-(

Since the Night Bane rune for Shadow Power no longer regenerates Hatred, the Rapid Fire build I'd been playing for many months seems unsustainable. Even switched my Inna's Vast Expanse chest piece back to a Natalya's Cloak that had another 1.32 Hatred Regeneration on it to see if that would help; did a little, but still not enough.

Now that I'm back with 4-pc Natalya's, it's nice to get the +20 Discipline bonus for having the full set; but wow, Blizzard also nerfed Preparation so that instead of restoring one's Discipline to full, it only adds 30?! :-0 Makes one wonder what's the point of having a larger Discipline pool now... :(

Kind of went back to my Hungering Arrow / Spike Trap build again, and even added Rain of Vengeance in again too (since no longer need the Bat companion for hatred regeneration), but still dying a lot. Wonder if I should bring Elemental Arrow (Ball Lightning) back in again instead?

I thought my gear was originally pretty good, but I guess not so much anymore. Maybe I should drop the difficulty settings back down to Torment Level 3 or something. That being said, I'm guessing trying to farm organs from Uber runs is going to be a lot harder than in the past... :-0

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried forging a new Hellfire Ring in Loot 2.0? And if so, are the stats on them significantly better than before?

Didn't craft on since 2.0.1 but as far as I can tell the chances of getting a good one is now better but we will never see the really outstanding tri/quadfectas again. So If you got lucky pre patch keep/use it :)

No luck from my end--out of the 20+ Hellfire rings I crafted pre-patch, pretty much all of them were fairly crappy. You can see my profile--I'm wearing the best one out of all of 'em, & it's still a pretty sad ring... :-(

Thanks for the reply though. Will definitely try to craft another again post-patch when I get the chance.

My friend and I made a few HF rings the other night. They roll with much more mainstat now, which is an improvement, but they do have the 4/2 system so you'll never get CC, CD, AS, AR together. He rolled one with CC/CD/socket though, and I got one with AR/AS, so I'm not complaining :D. Those rolls were much much better than my pre 2.0 HF rings, but that's a pretty small sample size to say anything conclusive.
