I think that there is no reason why we cannot be given a better average price point off of which to work when we are selling our Diablo gear. As it stands the price point suggested when you go to sell an item is vastly under priced on the GAH and over priced on the RMAH. It would take the Devs a while but all they need to do is rank stats for each item type and then isolate statistically the way each stat affects the final sale price on average. This is impossible for users to do on our end as the stats of even our own sales are not view-able much less the sales of the aggregate community. It is possible for us to start posting each item, with it's stats, that we sell and at what price in some major community project. If this is done then off of that sample it would be possible to publish specific findings from the D3 Community Pricing Project and hope that the sample is representative of the entire Diablo 3 economy. This is possible with enough posted items.
