http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/6308611241?page=2#23 "Just to clarify, we aren't making any changes to the chance that an item will drop. Instead, we're changing the quality of that item when it drops. And when we say we're increasing the likelihood that non-Elite monsters will drop magical items "by a factor of four," it means that those monsters should drop 4 times (or "4x") the amount of magical items as they do now. So, for example, if doing a full clear of an area currently yields 500 items from non-Elites, it will still yield 500 items after 1.0.4. Whereas you may have only gotten 20 Magic (blue) items and 4 Rare (yellow) item from those non-Elites before, you’ll now get approximately 80 Magic items and 16 Rares. Hope that helps!" |
Many more yellows after patch

I like the sound if it, but worry it won't matter still.. |

Well since the iLvl 61 & 62 weapons now have the potential to be as good/better than the iLvl 63 counterparts - could mean better (and cheaper) weapons |

Definitely cheaper weapons. Only the elites stuck on Inferno A3 that require specific affixes to their weapons are likely not to be impacted by price reductions. |

I actually did not think about that at all, I am glad you brought that to my attention! The weapon market in general is going to change a lot with two handed-weapons and a few other upcoming changes. |

Very good point @Anuiran It almost makes me not want to buy any upgrades as nothing in game changes. Only new drops. |

I know that I bought a few of the weapon crafting plans before their prices spiked - didn't plan ahead to buy doubles though :( so either I use them myself to craft or just resell them for a huge profit |

More rares is always good since now lower level rares can roll higher stats. This should flood the market with mid tier rares. |

idk, maybe. I just hope its not even more junk you have to sift through. But it may make more crafting materials available. |

This is what I'm thinking, hope they are really gonna do something about the stats on non 63 items because at the rate they drop the chances of getting anything that is worth selling is pretty slim |
