I have countless hours in this game. To see a possible dupe will crush me. It's official! Duping does work, I bet! Blizz, what you going to do about it? Aren't you guys impressed with that?! |

Same thing that happens in World of Warcraft people abuse the GM's to get rolled back and "dupe" items. As far I as am aware there is no real dupe and this is a just a isolated issue. I did however have two identical items drop for me once but the odds of 6 dropping all at once are too high. More so if someone could dupe they would not be gearing their character to play the game rather they would just infinitely dupe gold and rare items to sell on the real money auction house. |

I think this dupe method is related with some AH issue, like selling the same item to more than one buyer. The battle.net forum that I quoted shows that the probabiity of having that same item is 1 out of 4,784,474,572,579,344,957,650,000,000,000 LOL |

I'm not too worried about it since it still seems pretty isolated. If it starts happening more often, then I'll get worried. Blizzard has to be taking this seriously. Until evidence to the contrary, I'm going to choose to believe it's extremely rare. |

Agreed. This does beg the question of how these player profiles were found... |

Haha I was wondering the same thing. It seems very unlikely that the OP of the thread just randomly started viewing people's profiles and was like, "Oh hey, they have the same item!" |

The OP found about about the 6 items when he went to on of the sites that ranks the top-10 players in each category - the site ranks the top 10 barbs, wizzies, dh's, monks and wd. When he looked at the top-10 wizzies he noticed that 6 of the top 10 had on the similar gear and figured out there was some funny business going on. Can't fault the OP - he actually did some pretty good detective work. |

@baccarat0809 Would you happen to have a link to this site? Data is always useful for a myriad of things... |
