Admittedly, I've only been doing A1 and A3 runs.

Anyone that uses it been negatively impacted?

My friend runs CM and has noticed a slight difference but he said he's already use to it. I personally don't run any of those builds so I am only going on his word ;p

I saw it happen. It's not nerfed at all.

I can notice a difference; I mean, they did half the proc coefficient, after all. But you'd have to be completely under geared and/or not a great player to not be able to adapt to these changes.

I noticed it today while trying to face tank diablo again. So I switched my WW to storm chaser rune, which they didn't nerf. Additionally, the moving tornado's help against enemies that happen to run prior to freeze, like diablo. He went down after that. Tried it on a Ghom run and the moving tornados work wonders bouncing off walls in dungeons. Highly recommend it.

@euggie If you're all resist and armor is high enough, switch to a Storm Armor/Shocking Aspect Rune build to complement the CM/WW/EB. This "shocknado" build is amazing if you can pull it off. Everything close to you melts away.

Add me in game if you want to see it in action.

my resist is pretty bad, so i probably won't be switching to this build, but i've been trying out a few other options like mammoth hydra and archon... trying to find a happy medium

bit of a necro, but I found CM performance against mobs better with stormchaser instead of WW. it might be because they doubled the coefficient on stormchaser.

only place it performs worse is against single monsters.

Bracing for 105.

Oh, and SC wasn't doubled, right? WW was halved, SC remained the same, right?

I did notice the WW difference rather quickly pre-104 A2 and A3. If SC is hit the same way it won't be pleasant at all.

I guess if you're in a group who is OK with you merely repeatedly freezing everything rather than achieve permafrost, it might not be the end of the world. I guess. Maybe. Hope so.

@xpoferens I've planned for a possible nerf and have been slowly perfecting my shocknado build (storm armor will get a buff). I'm sporting a Slorak's Madness with a twister crit chance increase and getting as much +lightning damage as possible. Also viable is the old meteor instead of twister.

has any one tried the other twister runes (besides sc/ww)? I was thinking of trying raging storm, the one where if they collide they get stronger...

also, how do we know what the proc coefficient is? Where do ppl get this info?!
