First of all I want to say that I really love your website.
Although it was already mentioned in another thread, as it's already one month old, I'd like to say that I'd also love to see exalted grand plans in the tracker. Another great feature would be a list-view for favorites where the columns are aligned and sorting for all the price related data is available (additionally to sort-by-price also sorting by price change in %, today average, yesterday average, % cheaper in rmah/gah and maybe also all-time-average (although all-time-average might not be too useful)). It would make it quite a bit faster to compare. And if possible also a miniature version of the price trend (or of an even more simplified graph for better viewing at small size) inside the list view would be great. Anyways, great work so far! ^^ Edit: I just checked the prices for flawless star emerald on eu and they were way off from the current ones so I was wondering, how often does the tracker refresh? (I guess less than once per hour?) Could you make it update more often maybe? |

The price is currently the average trading value for that day - we will start doing more updates once we have the man power to do it. Otherwise the addition of grand plans is a good idea.

Have to agree with the previous post, I love the website.
One suggestion I though of was to allow members to post current prices of items. I understand this might run into the issue of fake posts ( but really who would waste their farming time on that). Maybe if they were too high of a per engage different than the current price, they would not be accepted. This could Add the possibility of adding other items such as puzzle rings or legendaries that do not vary in stats very much. The player posted ones could be separate from the ones that are posted from your site, to maintain validity to the work that you guys are doing. Players could then follow someones posts and graphs. To boost the number of updates, additional entries into the contests could be given, or posting price updates could be required for entry. Anyways love the website. Keep it up! |

I like the idea.
If only registered members can update prices and if any registered member can report fakes (as you usually see the real price again ingame before actually buying/selling and you will notice if it's way off from the price listed here) then it will be easy to detect/ban price trolls. For some further protection you could also include requirements that the updat-posting account must have been registered for at least 14 days and/or must have made at least 2 forum posts between registration date and 7 days ago. As for motivation, there could be an ingame gold donation pot which is split between the top 20 auction house price tracker update posters according to how many of the total favorizations were made for the items which they have posted updates for. E.g.: Item A makes 17% of all "favourite" assignments Item B makes 40% of all "favourite" assignments Item C makes 43% of all "favourite" assignments Updater X has contributed 37% of all price updates for item C during the last month therefore 37% of 43% = 15.91% of the gold donations is given to updater X. |
