Nintendo Switch owners are in for a treat this November, as Diablo III is finally coming to the platform. You can only imagine how excited they are, considering that they will also able to play this exciting dungeon-crawler on the go. But the good news doesn't stop there since they aren't just getting the standard edition of Blizzard's epic action role-playing game. They are getting was have been called Diablo III: Eternal Collection.
So what does this package include? Well, it includes the original game plus the expansion packs Rise of the Necromancer and Ultimate Evil Edition. As with other versions of Diablo III, Switch players will also be able to embark on the Season Journey, offering them the chance to unlock some serious loot, as well as have access to five acts and seven classes.
The good news doesn't stop there, though! The following exclusives also come with the game, and they are sure to excite Nintendo fans, especially those who like Legend of Zelda:
Multiplayer has also been tweaked a bit! On top of battling hell's minions with friends online, you can also play with up to three friends offline or play with a buddy in shared-screen mode. Also, all Switch controller configurations are now supported (yes, even both single and dual-con setups).
However, amidst this good news, there is a bit of a downer. The Switch version will not support crossplay with the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game when it gets released, but this feature could be added in later. So Switch fans will have to be patient while Blizzard explores that option.
When can you get your hands on Diablo III for Nintendo Switch? It will be available on November 2, 2018, and will go for $60.
