who buys these? nothing is really worth crafting except for maybe the sage/hallowed ones, but other than that, whos looking to buy these other plans?
i've only found 1 legendary plan, and it was for a lvl58 item starspine or something like that, some bow. i think i sold it for like 100k or something |

That's a good question. I can see the cheaper ones being bought by people that want the achievement, and don't play HC where you could just buy more cheap rares. I think this would only explain a small portion of the cheaper legendary plan sales.

I know how you feel. I think I've played for over 500 hours now & have yet to gain a single legendary plan myself. I've also only gotten two gem plan drops this entire game... |

for items that are not even that nice, the drop rate is really really awful :(
I also got 2 or 3 gem plans, but only after 300h or so. |

Part of it is probably for achievements as mentioned above and part of it could be speculation that they'll improve in future patches. Helm of Command has the potential to be a real moneymaker in PvP since Block% could be big if PvP doesn't end up as one big one-shot festival. Legendary plans are also just cool.

A guy was once selling a 60 leg plan in trade for 1mil. Came on here, saw Ah was buying for 3mil. Scooped it up and made an easy 2mil. :P
Found my own leg plan around 60 hours. Sold it on Ah for 2.5mil. |
