What a big spender I am.
I have hit over 100m gold a few times, and I just couldn't resist on spending them all for upgrades. For this last time, I spent them on Legacy Nat rings for my DH, and Nat rings with +48% CD for my Monk. When I looked at my gold balance, it was less than 2.8 millions. Isn't it sad. Trading wise, it is not enough gold to make some AH flipping or sniping or taking advantage of players inputting one less zero on their buyouts. On the brighter side I still have my perma-TR monk with close to 190k DPS unbuffed, so I can always farm Act III over and over again for the multi-billion items. But, what if I do find the multi-billion items? What will it change? Maybe it will help me regear my monk to hit over 200k- 300k DP, and farm even faster? I don't sell gold hence accumulatin of wealth in terms of gold is meaningless to me. I will trade gold for a better game play experience anytime. I start to realise that Hardcore could be the ultimate end game for me. It is the challenge to stay alive. It is the challenge to progress as far as you could. It is the chance to give more appreciation to items. It is the chance to be careful with your gold and items, and to let them go if your HC character die. |

This is a known thing. I guess I am just getting bored of it. I logged on my SC monk just now, did just one Alkaiser Run, then switched to Hardcore. Played my WD for a while, then I levelled a new Barb and a new Monk in MP10. Barb about to face SK, I am getting anxious!

Yes hardcore isn't a mindless grind like sc. If it becomes one you end up rolling a new toon.

Nice boots. I am currently using only loots or merchant items in leveling. I hope to find some legendaries soon! That should be thrilling.

They are posted at 55k on ah. Not a lot of money, but then again I only have about 100k hc gold since I haven't gotten any handouts.
