$67.95? I never pay more 10 cents per dps so I guess you priced me out. Oh well.

(Note, I am not actually serious. Also, I wouldn't ever actually buy it.)

@nuhertz

Follow along on the zuni pc thread where we've been posting up our sales data and if it goes i'll say so there.

I'm way, way above the other in the same dps area but the highest with black damage. I paid a lot for it but I think the potential for a huge profit is there also. We'll see, as I've had it listed now for 4 days and not bite.

Most in the same dps range are going for around $30. The difference is this one is black damage - and the highest in black damage on either AH - so while it's not BIS for level 60's, it is BIS for level 30 characters.

@baccarat0809

F sexy that sword is!

@ninjax

Thanks for the video, I will take a look later. I got a reduced level Thing of the Deep at lvl49, in time to be prepared for the Grave Injustice Passive which is available at lvl50. The Thing of the Deep has mediocre stats, 202 DPS, it is only pricy because of the reduced level. At 60 it would become dirt cheap.

When you're running with 600+ dps, getting 40 bonus dps from +damage jewelry hardly seems important. I'm not sure why black damage on a ilvl 30 weapon makes a big difference.

The raw dps is spectacular, I'll grant you, but elemental vs. black damage just doesn't make a difference here.

What @ecocd said is true. I won't be worried about whether it is black or any sort of elemental damages for leveling at 30 - 50. The raw DPS is huge though, and probably can carry the toon from 30 - 50.

For me, I have settled with my 469 DPS Spectrum and will replace it with a reduced level 8xx DPS rare at 43. Even at level 40ish I will be focusing only on the raw DPS, I won't be worried about LoH, LS, socket or not, since I would probably just one shot those mobs in NM with Acid Cloud.

Well, bust my bubble but I guess it doesn't make that big of a difference so I probably won't get the markup I wanted.

Its still worth more than I paid, but not as much. Oh well, I can always dream.

I must say, though, that the graphic is spectacular.

Reached level 50 and unlocked the passive skill Grave Injustice. I also abandoned Zombie Dogs for Sacrifice/ Pride. Now I have the speed, endless mana and DPS (with a reduced level EF above 1200+) which I want. Thanks @ninjax for the video, that's an awesome build. I also have 37 yard pick up radius now with a reduced level Thing of the Deep :P

A) Grave Injustice + Spirit Walk/Jaunt + Haunt/Stalker = Always speeding!

Grave Injustice: Whenever an enemy dies within 8 yards, regain 2% of your maximum Life and Mana and the cooldown on all of your abilities is reduced by 1 second. This range is extended by items that increase your gold pickup radius.

B) Circle of Life + Sacrifice/ Pride = Perma Acid Cloud

Circle of Life: Whenever an enemy dies within 12 yards, there is a 30% chance that a Zombie Dog will automatically emerge. The range of this effect is increased by items that increase your gold pickup radius.

Pride: Regain 294 Mana (I think this is affected by +globe bonus from gears too) for each Zombie Dog you sacrifice.

My Solo MP10 rush came to an end.

Reached level 60, at the time mark of 9 hours 49 minutes. I probably could have done a little bit better, if I utilised Spirit Walk and Haunt/Stalker more than 10 levels earlier. Anyway it was a great rush, and I enjoy WD very much. With his equiped gears, he has a far range of 50 yards pick up radius!! No golds escape! :P

It was MP10 all the way. With a high dmg Hellfire Ring (& later weapons with rubies and reduced level weapons), you woudn't feel that it was MP10, except that you out level those mobs faster and faster, no grinding/ map clearing is necessary.

I am leveling my Wizard next. I know you have powerlevelled one before, and newbie here (I only have a HC level9 wizard!) need some quick advice on which skills would help in leveling........movement speed wise, AoE spell wise, mana regen wise. Thanks in advance!

@douvinsky If you see me online, ping me because I have some reduce level INT items you may need. They're not extreme reduced level but they may assist in the 40's to 50's for that extra push when things really seem like a drag.

Regarding skills, the Wizard has an interesting skill tree...

1) Blur/Passive - (lvl 10) Essentially an extra shield. Whether farming, leveling, or Uber running, I never leave home without Blur.

2) Diamond Skin - (lvl 8) Also essential if you're running around with the squishy Cain's set.

3) Ice Armor - (lvl 14) Again, any armor is essential when using Cain's set.

4) Electrocute/Forked Lightning (lvl 29) I love this thing. Critical hits cause bolts of lighting that cascade in random directions for 55% damage. Long range, free, and decent damage.

5) Magic Weapon - (lvl 20) Extra damage. Extra better at lvl 35 when Force Weapon unlocks.

6) Familiar - (lvl 22) Shoots at targets for 20% damage. Better at lvl 30 when it effects all attacks for an additional 12% extra damage.

7) Blizzard - (lvl 27) its not really the damage that this does. Its the fact that it slows enemies, is cheap, and when combined with Cold Blooded passive (lvl 30), you get slowed enemies that take an extra 20% damage.

Thats all I can think of for now. Hit me up whenever.

@douvinsky Wow, under 10 hours, nice! WD was my first class I started with. Until the patches with some WD buffs came out, he was slow going from Act 2 NM on up.

I still have the Barb and Monk to run up to lvl 60 on SC. Seems like some of the gears mentioned here for the WD would apply to these classes as well. I don't have a Hellfire ring yet (have 3 machines, but can only do ubers solo on MP3). I'm leaning towards leveling the Monk first. Having not played one before, any suggestions on skills when leveling? Seems like I should wait until 1.0.7 to drop too, based on the Monk buffs that are forthcoming and increased damage of higher-tier rubies in socketed weapons.

Although that is a very nice Spectrum, it seems like being BIS for a lvl 30 character doesn't mean very much at all when most players here seem to be leveling their new heroes from 1 to 60 in under a day... no?

I mean, the required level for the Spectrum is 30 and the highest "reduced level requirement" is 18, so lvl 42 gives players access to lvl 60 weapons already. Hard to justify spending so much real cash on a weapon that's only going to be used from lvl 30 to lvl 42, or a couple of hours of playing...

Still, good luck with the sell! :)

@douvinsky

Glad you enjoyed the build and it helped out getting you to 60 a bit quicker :) I love playing my WD since discovering this build he's now my main char for farming.

50 pickup radius is amazing! I think I have 20 now after swapping my old rare shoulders which had pickup radius for some vile wards.. but I'm really missing the pickup radius even tho I'm more of a tankier now.
Next upgrades will all have to include PUR i think!

@ninjax

Thanks. I think 50 pick up radius is a bit over (ab)use, isn't it?
I am upgrading a few pieces of gears and my PUR reduces to just over 40.

@douvinsky

Yes - I think somewhere about 30-35 would be great, it'd mean you can kill monsters behind you and not have to
run back to pick up their gold/globes and just keep running. MMmmm.. globes.

I was just looking at your skills and if you're planning to keep playing I'd look at trying to use Soul Harvest w/ Vengeful Spirit for pure damage rather than Gargantuan. When I enter an area I run right into the middle of the mob and cast it and it softens up everything. Some white mobs die just from that, then I usually just need 1 acid cloud to clear any stragglers since I now have an extra 650 int from all the souls (and likely globes) my buffed DPS is pretty decent.

:)

@Khan

Thanks for the tips for Wizard! Sounds fun.
I will ping you when I have started charging on Wizard.

@theoryzero

You are right that most of the gears/ tips are applicable to other classes. Generally if you are thinking of soloing, important checkpoints would be:

1) level15 (socket helm for exp, socket weapon for DPS), or earlier if you could afford the legendaries. Speaking about legendaries, for monk it would be level10 Spirit Stone, See No Evil, which could roll a socket. For 1H, is the slayer of human - Genzaniku but that would cost a few millions.

2) level21-23 (Born's set, Cain's set). You may skip the Born's set if you are on a budget.

3) level30 Insane DPS with Spectrum. But these are very expensive, more than 10 - 20m for a good one. An alternative is keep upgrading your 1H every 8 - 10 levels, that should work well too.

4) level42 -45. Time to look for reduced level weapons. Usually you only need to look at the raw weapon DPS since it is suffice to one hit those mobs in NM. You don't have to look at Loh, LS, socket.

5) Other legendaries checkpoint if you are looking for those additional movement speed from gears. Cap at 25%.

Speaking of monks, I have not tried focusing on fast leveling. Maybe some other players could point you the best build. What I could think of as a few core skills in terms of speed:

a. Fleet Footed passive (10). Increase your movement speed by 10%. Note this 10% can go beyond the 25% movement speed cap from gears i.e. max movement speed you could have is 35%.

b. Serenity - your oh no button

c. Primary - Fist of Thunder/ Thunderclap (6). It generates spirits very fast, and close your distance with the mobs.

d. One with Everything passive - our best budget passive if we need resistance. Basically choose one of the single resist and stack it (in addition to all resist), the passive will turn them into all resist. Say your gears have all resist = 100, cold resist = 200, fire resist = 150. With this passive your all resist = 300, being the highest resist type (total cold resist = 100 + 200 = 300).

Thanks man! I'll be browsing the AH for some of those items you mentioned. My gold budget is pretty low atm, have about 3M, but we'll see what I can come up with to get started.

Planning ahead is wise. I often search for my next upgrades before I hit the required levels.
