@nuhertz

Mind if i ask - was the ring self found or did you pick it up on the GAH and flip it over to the RMAH?

thanks

@baccarat0809 Finally a self found item! :)

I flip occasionally, but usually in markets a little easier to price.

With my Paragon 74 barb crushing MP10, I'm find a lot more now a days.

I have had good luck selling mid to high end rings and amulets in the 8 to 20 dollar range, but still nothing's selling as quickly as it used to.

@arpger Legendary or rare?

Rare. I used to only sell legendaries on the RMAH, but good rare jewelry makes up most of my RMAH sales now.

Just sold a Raven's Wing for $3.

Interesting little thing. Maybe I'll try the market on these.

I've revisited some old items, bumped the stats up and have been managing to sell quite a few over the past week.

All under $5 but better than nothing!

Made an interesting sale earlier this week. Won a ChaingMail on a bid for 17 million, and it sold for $8 on RMAH, netting $5.95 to paypal. I didn't think it would actually sell, but it appears there is some demand for good lower level armor pieces.

Sold 50 million gold last night for $12. After all the fees, got $9 from Paypal. Not bad.

Wow, if gold is actually selling at that price that means there is plenty of opportunity for profit through doing gem conversion at a lower price.

Yup! Thats exactly what I've been doing. Radiant stars are extremely lucrative.

My mate sold a stat-less pair of lacunis for 15 bucks and a bunch of other crap in the last few days.

Unfortunately, it looks like gold is now selling for 3.2 cents per million after the update so no profit to be made anymore it seems.

Yeah, just noticed. Oh well...

Edit: I predict some heavy inflationary pressure with gold at that price. The cost of items are going to go up as there will be a lot more gold around.

I'd like to see prices max out in softcore. With a certain price, the 15% removal of gold per auction will begin to remove gold faster than it can be accumulated in game.

For instance, if I can farm 150k gold per hour, and I buy a 1m gold item every hour, then as much gold as I farm will be removed from existence.

The biggest issue right now with the gold ah and prices stabilizing, is the 2b auction price cap. We need to see the auction cap even with the max RMAH listing. Otherwise all the high end items move to RMAH.

That was definitely happening pre 1.0.8. BIS items go up for 2b on AH, bought and listed on RMAH for $250 or whatever. No idea if they sold for $250 but if so they had a lot more value than 2b on AH when converting to gems and reselling them on AH.

We'll see how it pans out after the 10 stack change. I was happy to see I sold an item for 2.25 after the patch which was priced the same pre-patch.

I've been looking at flipping high end items like CC mempo's but not really found anything with much arbitrage yet.

My computer died... anyone care to share how the market has reacted to the new gold/usd pricing? Have prices gone up on the GAH as expected? Are people moving more items to the RMAH?

It looks like people are starting to catch on to the fact that items on the RMAH are way overpriced. Now that the ten million gold stacks are matching the relative price of gems, I think people are realizing that they can get a better deal on practically all items on the GAH. On the plus side, GAH sales in amount and quantity have really picked up in the last few days, but I would certainly prefer the RMAH to pick up instead.

I can't get a good amulet upgrade anymore for my wizard on the AH. There used to be awesome trifecta Tal's amulets for 2 billion gold. Now nothing. If you go to the RMAH, they're all there selling for $190 to $250 a pop.

Are you sure they are selling?
Idk as there is no RMAH for EU players on US but on EU RMAH it's more like relisting the same items all the times without anyone really selling.

I'm not sure if they're actually selling. However, I can't buy them on the AH as they've moved to the RMAH. They may come back to the AH. Likely, they'll just drop their price to about $60 or $70 apiece.

Been trying to sell a trifecta dex ring on there for a few days. Keep switching between the RMAH and GAH, so far not selling. Slowly dropping the price, ugh.

@cann: Just out of curiosity, what are the stats on your trifecta dex ring, & how much are you posting it for on the GAH? And is it for the North American server or some other region?
