The 4 hours is a rough guess, but I have twink gear for the whole journey, as this is my fifth level 60 (hopefully) DH and I saved the all the stuff along the way (2 characters full...)

I need some more as my toons keeping dying mostly to being too close. Of course those worms suck big time.

I am thinking keeps is safer as nothing spawns randomly. You just have to ensure you check all rooms when presented with 2+ doors.

Keep is safer. As for AC, probably need to invest heavily in vitality gears to withstand a possible 2 shots or more.

An update - ran solo for 45 minutes and leveled from 23 to 32 - (keeps and craters twice on MP4) killed Azmo, ran all of Act 4, killed Diablo (MP0 = chicken). I'll solo in act 1 nightmare MP4 until level 40 or so and beg for a jump to act 3.

I will try to match your time with my monk. Was your 45 minutes on MP10?

No - MP4... Only Diablo was at MP0.

Wow.that seems insane. My wizard died with 7 hrs of played.time at lvl 40 ish.

I was ready for act 3 nightmare at level 37, but nobody was on to boost me. I'll try again tomorrow... Ran MP6 festering woods - took 5 minutes per run, < 3 runs per level - boring but safe. Wasted quite a bit of time... Am at 4 hrs 55 minutes at level 39. I let someone borrow my slave bonds ahem, and they died... I purchased another pair tonight and of course the auction house is holding them. The extra 10% speed would have come in handy...

I was on to help, but then I realised that my WD doesn't even have NM Act III since she had been power levelled without killing Azmodan. Good thing about this (to me) is that if Blizzard decided to give a leg for Azmodan first kill at each level, I have one extra leg at NM level! Lol.

just a little jab @yoyo Not worried about, just upset that the auction house works slow sometimes. They would have been a nice add at level 33, but I forgot about it until I hit 35, purchased a real nice pair and then they don't show. Just really need the jump to act 3 so I can skip 2. I usually swap out my cains set once I hit level 43 - when my reduced level weapon kicks in.

Screwed around in Act 1 nm and had to run festering woods 4 times in 18 minutes just to level once while waiting for a ride. It took over 30 minutes to level from 40 to 43 in act 3 MP0 with help from @yoyo. I now have my level reduced weapon so will solo until act 1 hell. I probably would have leveled quicker just playing the game through as I have done previously.

I'm online playing some HC if anyone else is interested in helping level or just playing. Working on NM act 1 with a lvl 34 Barb.

Oh add me. My 38 wiz would be a good match to run with you.

Last night, I leveled from 44 to 50 solo and then to 57 with @zerokewl's help. Definately no speed records, but I'm alive!

I saw that you sent a friend request @nuhertz, will add tonight and may run with you and @zerokewl's wiz after I hit 60. I should do that very soon... and then I'll get to use my "big boy equipment". :)

My wiz hit 42 and I promptly spent too much money on 630 dps weapon reduced to 42. Should speed me up a lot. Prolly should have double check 2 handed weapons first

Looks like I need to speed up my monk to join you guys soon.

She hit level45 yesterday. It was about two Vota runs per level for 40-45. Bought reduced level 1Hs with 963 DPS. This increases my DPS by more than 6x from 1.5k to over 9k. Going to grind NM act 3 next.

Made it to 60 (yea!) in 9 hrs 47 minutes. At least an hour slower than my last run through, mainly due to losing twink gear and waiting for help to appear (sometimes just quicker playing through vrs. skipping content).

Helped @zerokewl's wiz, but he didn't really need it. Messaged @nuhertz, but you were playing sc... Ewww... :)

Not sure on that....I know at Softcore my Wizard was still grinding the prison area in Hell Act 1 for the last few levels, then VoTA for the last level. I have some bad experience in dying as a Wizard at softcore, I am not too good at playing a Wizard.

My HC monk at lvl52 has 8k+ DPS and 1137 vital, which is sufficient for NM Act 3 MP10.

Update

Lvl 59 and been farm hell a3 with ease on non elites. Some elites worry me a bit. Overall not doing bad.

I am loving the speed and power of an archon wizard. Just laze ring things down.

hehe, I play solo on the EU server, so can't join you guys.
But tbh... this has been an interesting read. You level up in about a quarter of the time it takes me, but you also seem to kill each other off a lot.
In the long run wouldn't it be faster to play a bit safer instead of power-levelling yourselfs to death??

I know that I am going to kill off my character at some point, at least if I keep playing, so why not rush to where the fun and loot is... :)

At some point, maybe I'll be able to do UBER farming, but I need the plans first and the Act 4 Warden is risky at a decent MP levels. In the past I stored up and traded my HC cash, but now everything I loot is going into better gear. Maybe it will allow me to get past 60(24)...

Now we just need to get @nuhertz Barb leveled up to join.
