Location: I farm Act 2 Desolate Sands. I like this area because it spawns 3 caves no matter what, several events to keep things fresh (plus adds to achievements) and if I have the time I will do a full terminus run and finish with taking out Kulle.
Yield: I pick up everything that is blue and yellow I don't pay attention to lvl (guess I'm weird)

Location: Act 1. Seems the most efficient to me because I can't farm Act 3 in MF gear and my DPS is only 30k in my best gear.
Yield: Only yellow 63 weapons and 61+ yellow armor. Sometimes I pick up sub-61 items if Act 1 run yielded very few rares. The main thing is I never stop until I'm done to maintain efficiency.

Act 2 - Start on the Kulle quest - get 5 stacks then kill him and Belial. If I feel like it I'll do desolate sand after - usually 10 - 15 packs there including the caves

Farming Act 3 with my Wizard ( Critical Mass Build ) Pretty easy but loot is still shit :p

I tried farming act 3 with my DH, but my 76k damage (without ss) just isn't enough to 1-shot elites.
So I'm stuck with act 1 :P
Base MF is 86% and yes I do gearswap.

I can see most of you farm Act 2 @@
My gear is tank enough for Act 2, but I don't like farming there.
Just like Diablo 2, I don't like play Act 2 as well. I don't why~

Location: I farm act 2, usually starting in ancient path and going to desolate winds, Lots of Goblins and resplendant chests :D But i also often go just about everywhere in act 2.
Yield: I pick up everything, if it sucks i salvage it :D

I make good amount of gold salvaging items near the end of Act 2 before the fight with Balil.

Location: Act 2. Start in Black Canyon Mines and pick up 2-3 stacks, go to Road to Alcarnus for guaranteed 1-2 and high chance of goblin, then Kulle for free loots. If I'm in the mood I'll go to the Assassin's Vault in Desolate Sands, tons of rares there.
Yield: I pick up everything so I end up going back a bunch of times. Maybe 3-4 for the full run.
Class: Demon Hunter, tank build
Dps: 65k with sharpshooter and 15% base crit.
Base MF: I think it's around 170.

Location: Currently - act 1, imprison quest. Start quest head to cementary and hit the caves. Then head to halls of agony and kill butcher. Then head to northern lands hoping for watch tower as I have good luck there. That is my core run path having never seen offical farming routes.

Yield: Picking up 61+ blues that I salvage with extreme prejudice, I pick up all yellows, stashing 61+ yellows until the end of the run I'll usually have about 2/3 of a stash tab full of unidentified items.

Used to get like 4 - 8 Lvl 63 items in one run but since the latest patch , the drops was reduced to 2 - 4 LVL 63 items in a run .
Drops hell of alot of LVL 62 items . OMG ....

Location: Looks like vault runs in act 2 are the way to go. I've been doing them myself for weeks. I suspect there have been recent stealth buffs to the other caves in desolate sands - 3-4 elites per cave, chance of getting a goblin per level. So start with running around desolate sands, find caves, get 5 stacks, do vault. Nerf to sewers (no more goblin) makes it meh, and i finish off in black mines and alcernus.

Gearswap: Yes, i gearswap into 300% MF before elite/goblin kill. Also swap in stormshield on particularly hard elites.
Run Time - approx 30-35 mins per run with about 20-25 elites and 2 goblins on avg.

I am wondering if you notice that they have buff the elites in Act2 as they hit harder than usual . Maybe it's all in my head . Still easy thou and it's not really affecting my runs .
One thing's for sure , the drop rate has changed and it's so blardy obvious .

Location: I switch between Act 2 Goblins and Act 3 (Clear most areas, then finish with SB).
Yield: Been getting better drops from Gobs than in Act 3 recently. I've been able to get a few (crappy) legendaries/set from Gobs and have only ever gotten some sweet Jewelry plans from Act 3.
Class: Disintegrate build for Gobs & CM/WW Wiz for Act 3.
Dps: 46k for Gobs; 37k for Act 3
Base MF: 83% for Gobs (But I switch into my full MF set before kill; 261%); *Can't remember for Act3. I think about 40%

black cannyon mines - roa to alcarnus - vault of the assasin - zk

takes 30 - 40 minutes and u get like 15-20 elites plus 2-3 goblins.

Act 1, 2 and 3 run through depending on how i feel.

From 100MF on my DH to over 300MF on my WD.

seems like the A2 BCM-->Alcarnus-->Vault + Kulle/Belial route is the most common one.
i alt btw that and A3 Heart of Sin route.
